I just read the above comment, and… I’m sorry. I feel like I’ve failed you as a friend.

Because while I never meant to lie, or to deceive, what Adell says is absolutely true. Please know that I intended to explain all this to you, in good time, because I thought I *had* more time. I know that’s… not good enough, but I hope it’ll go some way to helping you forgive me in time.

Because, you see, this IS all happening too fast. I don’t know if you’ll even ever read this message, or if you’ll be sent back first– it’s totally out of my hands at this point. And if you DO read it, it might be too late…

But I want to tell you that I feel lucky to have gotten to know you these past few weeks. I feel blessed to have gotten to share in your triumphs, in your feelings of joy and disappointment, to watch as you tasted my world. You are brilliant and brave, Adam, and you have made this world a brighter place by gracing it, even if for so short a time, with your presence.

I’m not sure how much you you’re already aware of, so I’ll just start from the beginning. You, Adam, were from a different world, a place where you were created by a scientist and where thing were far from ideal from you, I know. What you probably don’t know however, is that here, that story is as fictional as your plays. It was a book, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankenstein, and it followed the life of the scientists who made you as well as the existences you had. Somehow, we’re still not sure how, you crossed over from that world, that story, into our world through cracks in the ‘fourth wall’, a term I’m sure you’re familiar with as a playwright but far more literal in meaning here.

I know you spoke with the Cabal, and maybe they said similar things to you? Maybe they warned you that we would attempt to send you back to that world, or maybe they just wanted your aid in getting what they wanted. Whatever reason…they too, are people from ‘fictional’ stories in our world. And if they did tell you about sending you back, they were right, in a way.

By using a certain method, we can return you to the other side of the fourth wall, but it does not need to be your original world. You don’t need to return to a place where people won’t try to respect or understand you. We can bring you to a place where you can follow your career as a playwright, where people will grow to love your writing and the person you really are…Where you can hopefully be happy. Even know, there are those who have been following you writing these stories, some have already finished writing them. If the process goes through, you will leave our world, and have a chance at a much better life.

If that’s what you want.

This is why I felt I must tell you the truth, that you were a fictional character in our world, and that others amongst us planned to bring you to a new world. We were attempting to do something that many might consider manipulative, wrong, and distrustful. Maybe those people would be right, and I feel like it’s time we stopped trying to be like that. You, as a person Adam, deserved to know the truth about everything. You AREN’T just some character to be controlled, you are an individual who thinks and creates just like us. It may not be easy to understand, it may not be something you want to hear, but I was not gonna stand by and let you leave our world without being aware of what has happened. I hope you see this, and I hope you understand.

Um. I just wanted to pop in here and let you know that I think you’re a good writer, and you have a lot of potential which you should keep persuing it wherever you may end up. We never know where the future will take us, but you’ve already shown you have the courage to meet it with your head held high. I’m not sure what that future holds, hell, who is? But you’ll be able to carry it , I’m sure.

Let me just say in all seriousness, that it’s been a priviledge to see you writing and hear your thoughts here. And that’s the truth. You’re a good person, you have worth, never let anyone tell you otherwise. I’m sorry some things just haven’t worked out the way we wanted them to and I wish you all the best.
